On his recent visit to the Rasina District, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić laid out plans for significant infrastructure and development ventures in the Brus municipality. One of the key initiatives involves investing about €6 million into road reconstruction. This project aims to cover 15 kilometers of roads, with completion anticipated by the end of October, ultimately striving to provide improved road access for nearly every village in the area.
In addition to the roadworks, Vučić highlighted the upcoming €2 million Vignjište water-supply project, scheduled to commence by the end of the year. This effort reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing essential services in the municipality. Moreover, discussions are in progress with a potential investor regarding the establishment of a new factory, which holds the promise of creating approximately 200 jobs for the local population.
Vučić’s visit also included a stop at an organic fruit-processing company, where he outlined opportunities for businesses to receive governmental assistance for acquiring machinery. This support includes non-refundable funding of around €42,000, alongside Development Fund loans with fixed interest rates ranging from 2 to 2.5 percent. Such measures are intended to stimulate local business growth and economic development.
Concluding his announcements, President Vučić shared that he plans to attend the inauguration of a new robot factory in Šabac on August 29. This event marks another step in Serbia’s ongoing efforts to boost industrial capabilities and technological advancement in the country.
