The trip to Yekaterinburg is centered around attending the annual Innoprom industrial exhibition, where he will also meet with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The friction between the two nations has been exacerbated by Russia’s recent restrictions on imports of numerous Armenian products, citing health and safety concerns as the reason.
