The opening goal for Wrexham came courtesy of an own goal by Zak Sturge, who inadvertently diverted Issa Kaboré’s cross into Millwall’s net during the first half. Shortly after the break, Kieffer Moore extended Wrexham’s lead with a powerful shot from approximately 20 yards out. Jacques Ekomié sealed the victory with a close-range finish, solidifying a convincing win for the visitors.
For Millwall, the defeat marked another setback, as they have now conceded eight goals in their last two games following a promising start with back-to-back clean-sheet victories. The situation was further exacerbated by injuries to key players, striker Josh Coburn and midfielder Casper De Norre.
In other Championship action, QPR maintained their strong start to the season by defeating Cardiff 2-1 at Loftus Road.
